THERMALLY SPUN PVDF

Using the Thermally Induced Phase Separation (TIPS) process, polyvinyldene difluoride (PVDF) plastic membranes are produced with tunable porosity, pore sizes and thickness. TIPS formed PVDF hollow fiber membranes are significantly stronger and more durable than those produced by competing methods.

THERMALLY SPUN PMP

We produce Polymethylpentene (PMP) hollow fiber via the Melt Spin Cold Stretch (MSCS) method. This technique involves extruding a tube of molten plastic. This tube is then drawn after cooling to produce a porous hollow fiber. When PMP hollow fiber is produced via this method, a membrane with expansive porosity throughout the wall is a produced with a thin, relatively non-porous outer skin is produced.
